I would love to tell you about myself!

My name is Karen Sibal and I’m a Functional Medicine Certified Health Coach (FMCHC) and Chopra-certified instructor in Perfect Health Ayurvedic Lifestyle teachings. 

I’m a mom of two beautiful girls and an awesome Labradoodle, wife, and daughter with aging parents. 

I’ve seen the ups and downs of life and have had my share of health and family challenges, just like you. 

It seems like the waves of life keep getting stronger and more intense nowadays, and it can be incredibly stressful trying to figure out how to surf and ride the waves without sinking. Life is especially hard now for many of us. We are in uncharted waters. Finding good, trustworthy health information can be challenging. As a health and wellness coach, I get it.

For 20+ years, I’ve worked in health and social services. I have a graduate degree in public policy and administration and I’ve been a lifelong advocate for social justice helping vulnerable people of all ages thrive. I believe every person must always have the right to choose healthcare that works for them. In my heart, I’m passionate about empowering clients with finding solutions to their health issues – you are the CEO of your mind, body and life!

My areas of focus include helping people at mid-life and beyond with healing from anxiety, stress and chronic illness using Ayurveda and positive psychology.

I know what it’s like to have a debilitating autoimmune illness, accumulated trauma and finding the will to survive after hitting rock bottom. Most frequent questions and answers

I would say my own personal journey on healing from trauma and an autoimmune disease inspired me to write this book. I was also inspired by my late grandfather who was a passionate advocate of mind-body medicine, specifically Ayurveda and I learned so much about healing the body, mind and spirit using plants which are a big part of Ayurvedic lifestyle teachings.

I want readers to know that there is more than one path to vibrant, whole health and healing. Ayurveda and positive psychology are two modalities that I present through my book to help readers cope and heal from chronic diseases. I present the concept of grounding from the lens of these two modalities which is different and unique

We are living in unprecedented chaotic times where fear, stress and anxiety are the real pandemic. We need tools to navigate these uncharted waters. Grounding tools as presented through the lens of Ayurveda and positive psychology are simple, easy and practical for anyone to learn and apply on a daily basis to restore their sense of balance, calm and well-being.
